THE FRAMER

I've been working with wood for as long as I can remember. On my seventh birthday, my grandfather surprised me with a beautiful workbench he had lovingly built by hand...I’ve adored woodworking ever since. But it was when I was working as a photographer I discovered my love of framing.

I tried a number of framers but none could produce the quality, naturalness and finish I was looking for. I already had a workshop so decided to begin creating my own. I discovered the beauty of finding wood to match the imagery, creating a frame from a single section of board, getting the grain to align and achieving the most appealing finish.

I enjoy every moment of crafting a frame, lost in the silence of the workshop, mindful of every detail and making sure that every frame I produce is perfect in every way.
